Zoo Lights 2008, Lincoln Park Zoo

We went with some friends last weekend. Heidi had a blast, she liked the characters, and loved going on the carousel. I do not think she loved the snowsuit.

Sorry for the delay, we have been busy. Where to begin...

Halloween, Heidi had 3 costumes, the skunk, ballerina ( it was too warm for the skunk outfit) and Pebbles Flintstone.

First Birthday, we had a nice little party with the grandparents at Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Mike's house. Heidi likes cake, she must get that from me. We had a nice Thanksgiving at our house with Gigi, Papaw and Great Grandmommy. We will be heading to Anderson for Christmas to spend with family. This has been a wonderful year, and we are excited for 2009, whatever or whomever it may bring ( no I am not, if that is your next question). Have a safe and happy holiday season. What a change in one year.

Next week Heidi will be a 1 year old. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. She is such a wonderful little girl, and this has been the best year of our lives so far. Heidi started walking at 11 months, and she is a pro now. She has 6 teeth, and we are on our last can of formula. I will post Birthday and Halloween pics.

I am 10 months old now, boo yah

Hi everyone,

Heidi turned 10 months old last week. She has her two bottom teeth, and we are working on some on the top too. She is cruising everywhere. We catch her standing on her own. She loves to turn the tv on and off, we don't love it. Gene, Bear and I are good. Heidi's cousin Wyatt turns 1 tomorrow. What a big boy. It is hard to believe how fast time has gone by.

I am now 9 and a half months old, and feeling FIERCE!

Let's see what the summer has brought us.....

I started crawling at about 7 months

I can clap my hands, I learned that at about 8.5 months

I am also cruising, and can pull myself us. That started at around 9 months also.

Still no teeth, but I am getting the bottom two very soon.

We got some pictures taken for our 9 month bday. My dad likes the colts, and I am almost grown out of my cheerleader outfit From Uncle Al, Aunt Rachel, and Cousins Kurt and Frankie. I don't know if I can wear it during football season. Good thing Daddy also got me a Manning Jersey.

Hello again, it has been awhile

Hi,

so I know it has been a few months since I have posted anything. We have been busy, let's see what you may have missed:

5 months: Heidi rolls over front to back and back to front, also her first airplane trip to go see the Texas family. She got to meet her new cousin Anderson.

6 months: Heidi can sit up on her own without support

7.5 months: Heidi starts to crawl on her knees, and she can also pull herself up to sit

I swear we are on the verge of a tooth also.

I love my mom

Heidi has fallen asleep after her bottle a few times like this, and I just love it. Whenever she does this it makes Gene laugh, and run for the camera. What a great little girl.

This is Heidi's newest cousin Anderson Davis Fitzgerald. We will be going to meet him at the end of the month. He is so cute.

I thought Bear needed a little bit of representaion. He is of course also my baby.

Grandma Sandy and Bumpa came to visit, I had not seen them in a while so I went over the top with my look.

It has been quite a while since our last update. Heidi is doing great, she is a perfect baby, and we are loving every second of her. What is she up to, lets see.... She is laughing all the time now, and has discovered her toes, which she likes to put in her mouth. We are now eating stage 1 solids, I think her favorites are green beans and applesauce. She has not disliked anything as of yet. She is rolling on her back to both sides now, we are still working on her tummy time rolling. She loves her excersaucer, and we love the break that it gives up. She is starting to like her bath time more. Her cute little baby red hair is falling out, and it seems to be growing in blonder. Her hairstyle right now seems to be an older man comb over. As of Sunday she will already be 5 months old. She is our little cookie, and we just lover her to pieces. Also she and Bear are getting along. He always lays own next to her, and she pets him now. He also gets to lick the left over baby food. It works for their relationship.
